Conference on GAP October 9th-10th, 2013 in Tekirdag

      This Conference on GAP was organized in Tekirdag CE with support of TurkGAP. Participants, project's direct beneficiaries have been educated about the advantages of Good Agricultural Practices, laws and regulations related to GAP, Gap Procedures on Control Period, Farmers Information System, Education of personnel, Traceability, Soil Analysis, Irrigation Analysis, Microbiological analysis of irrigation water, Pesticide residue analysis, Records of pesticides, Records of fertilizers, Irrigation records, Use of soil, Environmental protection, Waste management, Harvest applications and post harvest procedures. Checklist of major and minor control points have been discussed with participants. Participating farmers got their “Good Agricultural Practices” Certificates.
